Hannah first learned about the power of Chinese Medicine in her young childhood, when she witnessed her father be healed of his sinusitis through acupuncture and herbs after undergoing years of western treatment that barely made a dent in his symptoms.
When her own chronic health issues appeared and she found little guidance from her doctors, Hannah started seeing an acupuncturist who helped her understand her body as a whole and interconnected system. Her digestive symptoms started to lessen and even more profoundly, she began to understand the root causes of her symptoms and the messages her body was trying to send her. She decided to change her life path and study for her Masters in Acupuncture and Herbal medicine at Maryland University of Integrative Health in Columbia, MD.
Since getting her Master’s, Hannah has continued to deepen her studies with world-renowned teachers. In 2021, Hannah completed the year long Tao of Trauma Course with Alaine Duncan, where she explored the Nervous System’s role in health and well-being through the lens of the Five Element System of Acupuncture. She was also selected for the inaugural 2023 6-month Mentorship with Ann Cecil-Sterman, in which she practiced and studied in the Complementary Channels of Acupuncture, with a focus on assisting in the reversal of chronic conditions.
Both courses opened Hannah’s eyes to the power of using Chinese Medicine to treat Trauma/trauma through work with the Ventral Vagal system, The Eight Extraordinary Meridians and the Luo channels. Hannah now uses acupuncture not only to help with physical aches and pains, but also to help heal emotional and spiritual wounds.
Hannah has worked with hundreds of patients and helped people heal from a wide range of symptoms and conditions like migraines, anxiety, depression, fertility, pregnancy symptoms, postpartum recovery, concussion, allergies, long Covid, fatigue, digestive issues, MCAS, childhood trauma, intergenerational trauma, back pain/shoulder/neck/body pain, plantar fasciitis, Ulcerative Colitis, amongst dozens of others.
