ATP Resonance BioTherapy

ATP Resonance BioTherapy is a very gentle technique used to relieve pain using a very low-level, painless electrical current.

Why use ATP Resonance BioTherapyTM

ATP Resonance BioTherapy delivers a low-level electrical current to certain parts of the body to help relieve pain and inflammation, which effectively treats a variety of physical and emotional conditions.

It does so by using specific frequencies and a type of electrical current called microcurrent. Depending on the tissue involved, specific frequencies are selected to encourage natural healing of the body.

One of the ways ATP Resonance BioTherapyTM works is by potentially increasing the production of a substance called adenosine triphosphate (ATP). This is extremely beneficial because injured or dysfunctional cells require increased level of ATP to return to normal and to restore their function to normal.

What does ATP Resonance BioTherapyTM treat?

ATP Resonance BioTherapyTM is most often used to treat pain, especially nerve and muscle pain, inflammation and scar tissue.

Our team has found success in treating a variety of physical and emotional complaints.

Examples include:

nerve pain
fibromyalgia
musculoskeletal injuries
acute and chronic pain

arthritis
digestive disorders
headaches
concussion

PTSD
depression
stress
…and much more

Patients have found that treatments can often result in a complete absence of or control of symptoms, even in severe conditions that have been present for years.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does ATP Resonance BioTherapy hurt?

Unlike traditional electrical stimulation or TENS, which has a biting, stinging sensation, ATP Resonance BioTherapyTM is non-invasive and painless. The currents used are so low that the patient often does not feel them. During the procedure, patients may notice certain effects, including warmth and a softening of affected tissues. Most patients often feel very relaxed.

How many treatments will I need?

The ATP process is repeated 2-4 times a week until maximum improvement is seen. A maintenance regimen is often prescribed to prevent recurrence. Maintenance may be as little as 1-2 times per month. The number of procedures a patient requires will vary based on the complexity and duration of your condition.

How is ATP Resonance BioTherapy applied?

During your ATP Resonance BioTherapyTM treatment, your healthcare provider will first set the frequencies that are going to be used for your particular condition. In many cases, the frequencies are set at two different levels — for example, one microcurrent channel might be set at 10 Hz and the second at 40 Hz. The current is usually applied with skin patches. It’s very important that you’re well hydrated before your ATP Resonance BioTherapyTM treatment. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids leading up to your appointment.

Are there any situations in which ATP Resonance BioTherapy should not be used?

There are certain groups of people who shouldn’t receive ATP Resonance BioTherapyTM  treatment, including:

  • People with pacemakers.
  • People with implanted pumps.
  • Pregnant women.
  • People who have uncontrolled seizures.

Certain frequencies also shouldn’t be used in cases of acute infection, new scar tissue (within six weeks) and acute fractures. Make sure to talk about any of these concerns with your healthcare provider before treatment.
